Priyanka Lalwani : Hosting a show has a special place in my heart

Jamai Raja actress Priyanka Lalwani enjoys acting but says that being on stage and hosting a show have a special place in her heart. “From corporate events to wedding events to fashion shows to interviews, you name it and I’ve probably done it all. Schwarzkopf, Lakme, LG, Samsung, Britannia, and Godrej are some of the known brands I’ve worked with,” she said. Asked which one she prefers — anchoring or acting, she said, “It’s like asking a parent to choose between their kids who is your favorite. I love both because while I’m on stage, I get to be myself and I can do my own thing. When I’m in front of the camera, I get to be the character that I am playing, so both have their own charm. Having said that, being on stage and hosting a show has a special place in my heart.” The Spotlight 2 actress didn’t take any formal training in anchoring. “In my early modeling days, I was offered to host a sangeet event and I was like why not. I remember taking my mom along with me. Since then there is no looking back. But it does require some different skills, the most important is that you have to be impromptu, unlike acting where a script is given. There are no retakes in anchoring,” she said. Over the years, she has learned that it’s very important to be patient and not rush through things when she is speaking on stage. “Sometimes people end up having deadlines and they have to cover a certain topic in the duration that is provided, so they have to make sure that what they are trying to convey, the audience is able to grasp it. “Prepare pointers and do your homework for the event you are hosting. Always have backup content so you can use it if need be. Be calm and always smile on,” she suggested. Talking about her favorite anchor on TV, she shared, “Since the time I was a kid I used to really look up to Vishal Malhotra and never missed any of his shows on Disney. I have really admired Ambika Anand. I have grown up watching her on NDTV Good Times. I wanted to do what she did. I wanted to travel and do shows as she did. And some way or the other, I am doing that.

Kaveri Priyam – I love playing characters who are very close to our real lives

Television actress Kaveri Priyam will soon be seen in Seema and Sudhir Sharma’s “Ziddi Dil Maane Na“. In a quick chat, she talks about the show, her character Dr. Monami Mahajan, the TV industry, and much more.
1. You’re doing a show called ‘Ziddi Dil Maane Na’, the trailer of which was recently released. The response is good. How does it feel? It feels amazing because finally, the show is on floors, we have all been waiting for this for a really long time. We started with the prep work back in November when the pilot was shot. Since my audition, I was quite excited about the show, especially because of the title, which I have seen and loved while growing up. So I was thrilled and excited to be a part of this one. 2. Can you talk about your character? Dr. Monami Mahajan comes from a very rich family. Her father is a doctor who owns a hospital of his own and he wants her to run it but she has some other plans. She wants to help people around because she knows that the sort of service which her father’s hospital provides cannot be afforded by everyone. She is empathetic, caring, helping, and she can do anything to help others. She gets scared, she gets nervous, she fumbles but she always stands with what’s right, and ultimately conquers her fear and goes on to achieve her dream. 3. What attracted you to the character? And how much do you relate to your character? I love playing characters that are very close to our real lives so I connected basically to Dr. Monami’s nature. She is a very helpful person, sweet, kind, and genuine sort of person. I somewhere feel the journey of Dr. Monami and mine is similar. Although I had my family’s support to come in this field somewhere our insecurities are similar. Both Dr. Monami and I are trying to create our names in a completely different world but we both came, conquered our dreams, and achieved them. 4. Did you do any preparation for the role? Yes, we had a lot of script reading sessions apart from that Sudhir sir and Seema ma’am made us do this very amazing workshop under Joy Fernandes sir, who is an amazing actor. We got to learn some really new and cool stuff from him. Also, there was so much to unlearn during the process because becoming a whole new character and leaving an old character behind is what we have to work a little bit more on to get into the skin of the present character. Apart from that, this role demands physical strength which I am still working on so that when Dr. Monami has to do fight sequences then I am all ready for it in the show. https://www.instagram.com/p/CTCkVvktICK/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link 5. Pandemic has changed the way we look at career and life. Your Comment. Pandemic has changed the way we look at everything in life is a great way. For me especially, the pandemic has been a lesson where I have learned to make the most of whatever opportunities I get and make the most of every day and also give my best in whatever I do because you never know if you will get the chance again or not. These days people have stopped living for the future and they have started living now in the present, which goes with my career and life as well. 6. What changes do you find in the industry over the years? Well though I have been in the industry for three or four years now, I feel that the life of TV shows has reduced and somewhere it’s sort of a challenge for everyone to make the show the best and number one. There are some shows which have been running for a really long time and they are an inspiration for us, so we have to make that happen as far as our show is concerned. 7. How’s it working with Sunshine Production? It’s a wonderful experience working with them. They make us feel at home and at such ease. We have been given all sorts of facilities that an actor can ask for to work with full concentration and everything. They are 200 percent involved right from the very beginning. It has been simply great and I am really looking forward to working more and more.

Take Care Of Your Hair

Take Care Of Your Hair, It is the crown you never take off. Your hair is your crowning glory! Hair thickness, length, and shine have a lot to do with how you treat your mane, but they’re also a reflection of scalp health, which is often ignored and sidelined! But help is at hand, and often the best things to do are also the easiest. Most importantly, how we feel about our hair can influence our entire self-image. Those of us who have ever experienced a bad hair day or at-home color disaster can likely relate to not wanting to leave the house without our emotional support beanie. Getting to know your hair on a very intimate level will not only help you keep it healthy, but it will also help strengthen your relationship with your stylist. By developing a deeper understanding of your hair’s preferences and needs, you will be able to communicate more effectively with your stylist. FACTS REGARDING HAIR FALL – A 50 to 100 hairs loss a day is considered normal. Any amount of hair over that might mean that something is wrong. – Hair loss is directly connected to stress, sometimes that stress is caused by excessive work, family problems, or major illness or surgeries. -Hair loss can be frequent after 3 months of giving birth, this is also a hormone disorder problem; during pregnancy high levels of specific hormones usually cause the body to keep the hair that was supposed to fall naturally. So is considered normal that when the hormones acquire the before pregnancy levels, that hair falls and starts the natural growth and loss cycle. – Hair loss can be caused by the use of tight pigtails, cornrows, hair rollers, and well as by hot oil treatment or chemicals frequently used in permanents (perms). This kind of hair loss is called traction alopecia and can stop when the pulling and the use of chemicals stop. – Hair loss can be caused by poor nutrition. Anorexic and bulimic people lose their hair because their body doesn’t get the necessary proteins, vitamins, and minerals to make the hair grow. Vegetarian persons can also experience some kind of hair loss if they don’t get enough proteins from non-meat resources. TREATMENT If hair fall is due to external problems, Understand it and switch to herbal paraben sulfate-free hair products. But if it is internal, change your diet towards protein, calcium, omega3 rich diets. If that is not enough, include herbal teas Multivitamins, Protein, Aloe vera supplements. By, Meeta Madhok
