Caregiving, illness, disability, language difference, remote work, unequal resources

- Bias-coded labels जैसे “बहुत aggressive”, “बहुत emotional”, “culture fit नहीं”, “too quiet” या “too ambitious” तब संदिग्ध हैं जब observable expectation स्पष्ट न हो।
|
Simple test |
|
1. Specificity |
|
2. Evidence |
|
3. Expectation |
|
4. Respect |
|
5. Action |
|
6. Fairness |
|
7. Dialogue |
|
8. Identity safety |
7-step framework
Clarifying questions
Self-feedback में evidence-based और compassionate review करें; impossible standards को challenge करें। Remote, hybrid और shift workers, career-break के बाद लौटने वाली महिलाएं, caregivers, disabled और neurodivergent professionals, chronic illness के साथ काम करने वाले लोग, multilingual workers, immigrants, LGBTQ+ professionals, women of colour, caste या minority backgrounds, older workers, pregnant या postpartum employees और male-dominated fields में काम करने वाली महिलाओं के लिए access, language, schedule, technology और safety needs अलग हो सकती हैं। Written follow-up, captions, quiet preparation time, flexible timing, screen-reader-friendly documents, interpreter, extra processing time, remote option
Identity, accent, body, age, pregnancy, disability, gender expression, race, caste, religion, sexuality या caregiving status पर comment performance feedback नहीं है। Public humiliation, threats, sexual remarks, slurs, deliberate exclusion, retaliation या shifting impossible standards को growth opportunity न बनाएं।Pattern note करें: dates, exact words, witnesses, written messages, comparable expectations और impact।
- Feedback बिना follow-up छोड़ना: agreed action और review date लिखें।

Troubleshooting: criticism
- Manager follow-up न करे: concise written summary भेजें और next review date मांगें।
- Feedback identity-based हो: उसे performance truth न मानें; trusted support लें।
7-day feedback reset
Day 1 — हालिया criticism के exact words, context और source लिखें।
- Day 2 — Facts, interpretations, tone, bias
- Day 3 — एक clarifying question और expected outcome लिखें।
- Day 4 — एक छोटा observable improvement experiment चुनें।
- Day 5 — Manager, colleague, mentor या trusted adviser से specific support मांगें।
- Facts, assumptions और identity-based comments अलग करें।
Mini checklist
यदि feedback बार–बार vague, contradictory, humiliating, discriminatory या impossible standards से जुड़ा हो, तो trusted mentor, career adviser, union, employee resource group, accessibility service, professional association, HR where safe या qualified employment adviser से guidance लें। Reassuring conclusion
